Jewelry Care
At Bria Jewels, our jewelry is hallmarked with S925 denoting that the jewelry is made up of 92.5% pure silver and the highest quality cubic zirconia stones. Our jewelry is plated with 18K Yellow Gold*** or Rhodium using Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), making it stronger and more durable than standard plating.
Sterling silver jewelry along with PVD plating can last you years and is easy to maintain. It is easier on the skin making it hypoallergenic and it will not give you any green fingers!
Although our jewelry is strongly resistant to water and other materials and can last years, we do recommend you follow the jewelry care and cleaning instructions to make them last even longer. REMEMBER these are just precautions - even if you forget a few, it's all right!
- Store your silver jewelry in BRIA JEWELS box or a zip lock bag.
- Avoid or LIMIT direct contact with harsh chemicals, soap, perfumes, and excessive humidity.
- TAKE OFF the jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising & sweating.
- Put on your jewelry at LAST and take it off first
- If you ever need to re-plate the jewelry, leave it to us or your local jeweler!
***18K Yellow Gold Plating is more susceptible to getting worn off, so ensure precautions, however white gold/rhodium plating can be used freely! Since the gold color is just gold plated base on silver material, the gold color fade is unavoidable and will show silver base. The only way to keep the color is to add nickel to the material, but nickel is one of the materials that can easily cause skin allergies, this ingredient is not allowed to be added to 925 silver products. We can only advise customers to minimize friction on jewelry during daily wear, as well as proper maintenance.
To clean your jewelry, dampen a cloth in lukewarm water, add a bit of mild soap and rub your jewelry gently. Rinse with clean water, and pat with a soft cloth to dry thoroughly.
